Shenandoah National Park is an enclosed and protected area of 200, 000 acres. It is home to plentiful forest areas and various animal species. There are waterfalls, mountains, fields, and every possible aspect creates an absolutely stunning location.
Location
The park is found in the state of Virginia and is fairly close to Washington D.C. It allows for people living in the big city to get away and visit a spectacular natural location. The park is open at all times, but some parts of it may close due to weather or other natural occurrences.
There are hundreds of things to experience at the Shenandoah National Park, if not more. Visitors can go hiking through the numerous trails, have a picnic, or even go camping in the specified camp areas. There is always something for guests to do no matter their age.

Overall Shenandoah National Park is a beautiful location that is visited by thousands of people from all over the world each year. It is close to a major city, yet has stunning attractions and an amazing view of wildlife naturally living in the area. Lastly there is an abundance of activities.
